Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver James Jones and his wife Tamika started a foundation during his second year in the NFL because of their very strong desire to give back. The Love Jones 4 Kids Foundation is a non-profit community-based organization that focuses on enriching the lives of children living in disadvantaged and underserved areas in the communities of Green Bay, WI & San Jose, CA. Each year, they conduct and sponsor a variety of programs to help young people overcome obstacles, stay in school, and prepare for challenges in life. The challenge they give every child they mentor is to become a leader and make a difference in your community – something they live every day.
In 2011, the Joneses decided to partner with Freedom House to help end homelessness in Brown County. It’s a passion for James who spent the first 15 years of his life in homeless shelters. They chose Freedom House because of our focus on keeping the family together and our Christian foundation.

“All we can do is keep fighting. Keep helping. Keep doing all we can to make sure that these children are going to be fine … It’s not going to necessarily take people with lots of money. It’s going to take people with big hearts to stop this and change this, and really want to make a difference.”
