Freedom House believes very strongly in working cooperatively with many organizations that share a commitment to helping the homeless whether they’re directly connected to our shelter or not. And one of those “partners,” House of Hope, is holding their first ever Gala Event on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Oneida Country Club in Green Bay from 6 to 9 p.m. Rub elbows with several beloved Green Bay Packers as Greg Jennings kicks off his plan to donate $1,000 for every touchdown he makes during the 2010/2011 Packer season to this homeless shelter. Come celebrate the hope offered to young mothers — you can even get your picture taken with your favorite Packers player. All proceeds will go to House of Hope! House of Hope provides programming, services and shelter to homeless, pregnant or parenting women, aged 18 to 24, and their children in the Green Bay area. The gala event is black tie optional and features raffles, silent & live auctions and gourmet hors d’oeuvres!

We’re down to literally hours before the unveiling of our 7^th Annual Celebration of Hope event and what more motivation do you need to join in the fun?
